Saint Luke’s parish church exists for the benefit of everyone in the parish of Tolleshunt Knights with Tiptree. Its location at the heart of Tiptree symbolises its central role in the life of the community.
Over the years of history since its dedication in 1856 there have been countless services, meetings and social events to say nothing of baptisms, weddings and funerals for local people. Its graveyard is a special place for many people in the community.
With the parish church being so important to the community we want to safeguard its future. So we invite everyone in the community to support its preservation.
We have launched a new organisation, the Friends of Saint Luke’s (FoSL), and we invite you to become a member and take a positive step to support and conserve this corner stone of the history of our Parish.
We are currently looking for a chairman to chair the committee.
