Braxted Bulletin

Thank you pets for bringing your owners along!
Our first ever Pet Service took place Sunday 13th June. A total of 83 adults and children came along with a variety of animals including a pony, a cockatoo, 3 quails, 3 guinea pigs, 1 hamster, 1 white rabbit and 16 dogs! All our furry friends were beautifully behaved during the service. Beau a Bull Terrier sang along to the songs which caused much amusement.

There was a small band comprising four adults and Elliot Elder from the village. He played his guitar with great expertise and also read a prayer. Some other children also read poems about their dogs with great feeling.

The weather was fine so refreshments were served outside and even the homemade biscuits were in the shape of different animals.

Children and adults enjoyed it immensely and thought it great fun and so by popular demand the Pet Service will be repeated next year.
