When Jo left for the Isle of Man in October, the bell ringers thought their fun was over. After much soul searching we were offered a set of bell plates to borrow for
three months. This fired up our imagination and began fund raising in earnest. We were given some generous donations which have gone a long way towards setting up our team. Knowing that a set of new bells was out of our reach, we settled for a three octave set of Hand Chimes. Wonderful ! Our ringing group is now 13 members strong. We meet weekly for a practice and a pub lunch. The group is united by every member taking some responsibility and strong friendships have been forged. We hope to play in and around Tiptree for Easter, Summer and Christmas and are currently busy increasmg our repertoire of music and ability. We feel truly blessed !
