This was one of the first groups to be started when the Church Extension opened. It has gone from strength to strength, and in recent years at least one of the original toddlers has come along with their own children.
We try to stay open during the school holidays as a lot of our mums don’t have children of Play school or Primary School age, as all the other toddler groups are shut during the holidays. This is a real life-line for some mums!
We meet on a Thursday afternoon from 1pm - 3pm all year round in St Luke’s extension. We welcome everyone from birth upwards and also welcome older brothers and sisters in the school holidays providing they are happy to share the activities with the younger children.
We have a wide range of toys and activities including ride along toys, role-play toys, dressing up box and a slide and tunnel. We also have an activity table to encourage the children to try painting, collage, card making, play dough, and puzzles.
There is a small charge for each family to cover the cost of refreshments and to provide the group with new toys and activities. We are always happy to greet new families.
