The Men's Supper Club was formed in 1978 and has met regularly ever since, celebrating 25 years in 2003.
The club was formed as an activity for the men of the church, and meetings continue to be attended by about 50 men, church members and friends.
Meetings - six of which are held, one a month, during the winter months - consist of good fellowship, a four-course dinner prepared by some church ladies, and a guest speaker. Through the years, speakers covering a wide variety of topics, and often using visual aids, have been informative, thought-provoking, and entertaining. The enthusiasm shown by the men at recent sessions suggests that the future of the Supper Club is secure.
