Eternal God, give us insight to discern your will for us, to give up what
harms us, and to seek the perfection we are promised in Jesus Christ our
Lord.

We continue our Lent sermon series with the 6th & 7th Commandments

Isaiah 55:1-9 Life in the restored Israel is portrayed as a banquet
provided at God’s expense. It is a gift in line with his covenant with David
and is open to all.
1 Corinthians 10:1-13  Paul uses the Israelite’s journey through the
wilderness as a picture of the Christian pilgrimage. He tells the readers to
be careful when they think they are standing to take care lest they fall.
Luke 13:1-9 Jesus explains that everyone fall short of God’s
standards but he is patient. He calls us all to truly repent and live for God.

place on Sunday 18th April, at 12.00noon. Together as a church
community we will be reviewing the previous year and making plans for
the next. The meeting will include elections of representatives to the PCC. Meanwhile, in preparation for these elections we need to update our... ...ELECTORAL ROLL (which is in effect a list of the members of our church). If you are not already on the Roll please ask for an enrolment
form either from Martin or our Electoral Roll Officer Ken Hazell
